Your subtitle files stay on your device

SyncMySubs is a set of free tools that run entirely in your browser. When you open, paste, or drop a subtitle file, it is read and processed locally in your browser with JavaScript. Your files are never uploaded to a server, never stored, and never seen by us or anyone else. There are no accounts and no sign-up.

What we collect

We do not collect any personal information ourselves, and there is no account or sign-in. To understand how the site is used, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-first, cookieless analytics tool that gives us aggregate visitor and pageview counts. It sets no cookies, uses no localStorage or other device storage, collects no personal information, and does not track you across other websites. It only measures anonymous, aggregate traffic and performance data.

The site itself is a set of static pages hosted on Cloudflare, which may keep standard, aggregated server logs (such as IP addresses and request times) for security and reliability. We do not have access to your file contents at any point.

Cookies and advertising

This site displays one advertisement below each tool, served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies lets it and its partners serve ads to you based on your browsing.

Consent in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland

Where required by law, visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland are shown a consent message before any personalized advertising cookies are set, and can choose whether to allow them.
