Lyric Timer
Turn plain lyrics into a synced .lrc file. Paste your own words, load your own audio, then tap once as each line begins. Your audio plays straight from your device and your lyrics stay in the page. Nothing is uploaded, and this tool never fetches lyrics or audio from anywhere; you bring your own.
1. Paste your lyrics

How the Lyric Timer works
LRC is a lyrics format that stores a start time for each line, so a music player can scroll the words in time with the song. Making one by hand means typing a timestamp in front of every line, which is slow and fiddly. This tool does it by feel instead: you play the song and tap once as each line begins, and it writes the exact play position into that line for you.
The whole thing runs in your browser. The audio you load is read locally and played from your own device, your lyrics never leave the page, and there is nothing to upload. Because the format only stores line starts, you do not set end times; a player simply shows each line until the next one arrives.
If you mistime a line, nothing is locked in. Click any line's time to jump the audio there and listen back, press Set to restamp it, or clear it and tap again. When the lines look right, export a standard .lrc that opens in most music and karaoke players. Want word-by-word karaoke highlighting instead? That is enhanced LRC, and you would time each word rather than each line.
FAQ
How do I sync lyrics to a song?
Paste your lyrics, one line per row, then load the audio file you have on your device. Press play and, as each line begins to be sung, tap the Tap button or the spacebar. Each tap stamps that line with the exact play position and moves you to the next line. When you are done, export the LRC.
Does my audio or my lyrics get uploaded?
No. The audio you load is played straight from your device and never leaves it, and your lyrics stay in the page. Nothing is uploaded and no server is involved. This tool also never fetches lyrics or audio from anywhere; you bring your own.
What if I mistime a line?
Every line keeps an editable timestamp. You can click a line's time to jump the audio there and check it, press Set to restamp it to the current position, or clear it and try again. You can redo as many lines as you like before exporting.
What is an LRC file?
LRC is a plain-text lyrics format that stores a start time for each line, so a music player can scroll the words in time with the song. This tool builds a standard LRC that opens in most music players and karaoke apps.
